Looking to gift a Quran to someone who’ll appreciate it
Hi everyone, First off, I want to be upfront-I’m Catholic. But that’s not really the main point here. I have a Quran in great condition, almost like new, and it just doesn’t feel right to throw it away or leave it sitting somewhere it might not be valued. Even though I follow a different faith, I believe in respecting what’s sacred to others. I live in Minneapolis, and I know there’s a strong Muslim community here-many facing difficult times. I don’t know anyone personally, but I thought if I could pass this Quran along to a mosque or a Muslim family, it might bring some comfort or support, even in a small way. It’s Lent right now, and I’ve been reflecting on what I can do to help others. Even if my motivations aren’t 100% pure-hey, I’m human-I still want to do something kind. I tried calling a few mosques, but I understand if they’re cautious or busy. I’m just trying to figure out a respectful way to get this Quran to someone who can use it, without coming across the wrong way. Thanks for listening-God bless, and peace to you all.
