LPTQ Kaltim Produces International MTQ Champion, Quranic Cadre Strategy in the Spotlight
Muhammad Murjani Alawi, a young qari trained by LPTQ East Kalimantan, won First Place at the International Student MTQ in Malaysia at the 12th MIISMAM event in Kuala Lumpur. He topped the score with 94 points, beating participants from various countries.
Vice Chair II of LPTQ Kaltim, Dasmiah, said this achievement is the result of continuous coaching. Even though the competition was held online, the quality of the competition remained high. Murjani is now being prepared for the XXXI National MTQ in Central Java 2026.
By 2026, LPTQ Kaltim has collected 20 international achievements and 71 national ones. This success confirms that Quranic cadreship is an investment in civilization that gives birth to a globally competitive generation.
