If You Think Ramadan Slipped By, Please Read This Tonight...
As-salamu alaykum. Before you go to sleep, just stop for a second. Ramadan is almost over. Those days we looked forward to all year are nearly finished. Maybe your heart feels heavy… like you didn't do enough, wasted too much time, missed too many opportunities, or let your lower self get the better of you. But listen closely. The last ten nights are here. These nights aren't just for the strongest in faith. They aren't just for those who had a perfect Ramadan. They're for those who struggled. For those who feel remorse. For those whose hearts are still quietly saying, "Ya Allah, I want to return to You." Hidden within these nights is Laylatul Qadr … a night that's better than a thousand months. That's more than eighty-three years of worship, all in a single night. Just think about it. One genuine prostration in salah. One tear shed purely for Allah's sake. One du'a whispered from a heart that feels broken. That one moment could outweigh years of slip-ups. Don't let Shaytan, or your own thoughts, convince you it's too late. Your Rabb is still inviting you. Allah's mercy is still wide open. The doors to forgiveness are still unlocked. Tonight could be the night your sins are wiped clean. Tonight could be the night your du'a gets answered. Tonight could be the night Allah starts a whole new story for your life. So stand in front of Him. Even if your salah is brief. Even if your voice shakes while making du'a. Even if all you can manage to say is: "Ya Allah, forgive me." That is more than enough to start. Your Lord sees the heart that is making an effort. He sees the tears no one else does. He hears the du'as you whisper while everyone else is sleeping. Don't let these nights just pass by like any other night. Wake your heart up. Turn back to Allah. Fill the darkness with prayer, with Quran, with hope. Because one of these nights is Laylatul Qadr. And whoever finds it with sincerity finds a treasure bigger than a whole lifetime. May Allah make our hearts wake up before Ramadan leaves. May He soften our hearts with His remembrance, fill our nights with sincere worship, and accept every prayer, every tear, and every du'a we send His way. Ameen.
