If a person doesn't bring hardship upon themselves, they truly know themselves and what Allah has revealed, right?

I really feel that someone who avoids making their own troubles is actually seeking to purify themselves. That way, they aren't ignorant about themselves or about what Allah has shown them. Indeed, Allah loves those who purify themselves. And wouldn't that make them a fair and upright person? Because to do that, you'd have to seek solutions and often gain knowledge-and that's part of purifying the soul. But what do you think, brothers and sisters?
