Ever Wondered About Face Covering During Ihram?

Assalamu alaikum! So, during Hajj or Umrah, I've noticed most women don't cover their faces, right? But then I've heard some scholars say niqab is fardh. Kinda makes you think: if it's required, why not during ihram when you're in this special spiritual state? On the other hand, the hijab stays on, but the face cover isn't always there. And like, think about daily life too-airports, passport checks, security... sometimes non-mahram men see your face anyway in those situations. So, what's the wisdom behind covering the face if it's gonna be visible sometimes? Just trying to understand better, insha'Allah.
