Death Toll in Venezuela Earthquake Rises to 920

The number of fatalities from the earthquake in Venezuela has climbed to 920, with 3,630 others injured. National Assembly President Jorge Rodríguez said the twin quakes on Wednesday (6/24) followed by a strong aftershock caused severe damage in the state of La Guaira. A total of 383 buildings were heavily damaged and 3,007 residents are sheltering in temporary camps and field hospitals.
