Condolences and Concern After Renewed Strikes in Gaza - May Allah Grant Mercy
As-salamu alaykum. I’m heartbroken reading that fighting resumed in Gaza and many civilians were killed - reports say the death toll reached around 100, including many children. May Allah have mercy on the martyrs and grant sabr to the families.
I saw that an Israeli soldier was reported killed near Rafah and that Israel carried out strikes in response. Palestinian authorities say dozens died, and there are accounts of children among the victims. Hamas denied involvement in the shooting and reiterated its commitment to the ceasefire. Tensions are high and each side is blaming the other.
There are also painful reports about bodies and the difficulties in recovering remains. Families of hostages and the communities affected are calling for answers and for the safe return of all missing loved ones. Mediators have warned the truce is fragile and urged urgent action to prevent further escalation.
This whole situation is a tragedy for civilians on both sides. My dua is for an end to the suffering, protection for innocents, and for wise leaders and mediators to work quickly to restore and keep the ceasefire. May Allah ease the pain of those grieving and guide everyone toward a just and peaceful resolution.
