Choosing the Right Business Partner from an Islamic Perspective

Assalamu alaikum! I'm considering partnering with someone for a business venture, but I've noticed they engage in haram acts like drinking in their personal life. In our business, I can ensure everything remains halal, but I'm concerned about how their personal character might influence things. In Islam, does this mean I should avoid partnering with them?
