BGN Head Reports 414 Suspicious SPPG to Attorney General's Office, Alleging Involvement of Previous Insiders
Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Sudaryono reported findings of irregularities in 414 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) to the Attorney General's Office on Friday (31/7). The irregularities involve fund flows to kitchen virtual account numbers that shouldn't be there, like duplicate accounts or ones belonging to kitchens that aren't even operating yet.
Sudaryono suspects the involvement of previous insiders within BGN in the distribution of these funds. Two possible motives are being looked into: whether there was malicious intent or just an effort to boost budget absorption without any corrupt intention.
Previously, BGN had returned Rp311.2 billion to the state treasury after checking 27,469 kitchen virtual accounts. The refund was made through five banks, including Bank BRI (Rp137.5 billion), Bank BNI (Rp74 billion), and Bank Mandiri (Rp71.6 billion).
