Bali Beach Mosque Festival Becomes a Symbol of National Harmony
The 2026 Bali Beach Mosque Cultural Festival, held in Cupel Village, Negara District, Jembrana Regency, on July 25–26, 2026, showcased an inclusive and harmonious face of Islam. With the theme 'Brotherhood in Diversity (Menyame Braye)', this event brought together religion, tradition, people's economy, and tourism.
Jembrana Regent I Made Kembang Hartawan appreciated the festival, which presented a cheerful atmosphere, a buzz of MSMEs, and a sailing boat competition, showing the mosque as a living space beneficial to all. Former Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar, Abdul Wahid Maktub, stressed the importance of diversity as a blessing to get to know and respect each other.
National Committee Chair Fadian M Paham mentioned that the mosque has enriched the multicultural community, with local youth as the driving force. The festival also boosted the local economy and strengthened collaboration across backgrounds.
Firmansyah Dimmy, Chair of the Nusantara Beach Mosque Foundation, hoped this event would continue to inspire social harmony, empower the people's economy, and preserve local culture, while also attracting international tourists.
