Attended the masjid for my first visit

Turns out I was stressing over nothing, alhamdulillah. The brothers welcomed me so warmly, and I found out there are many reverts among them. We prayed maghrib and isha together, then they prepared some food for us. The imam calling me up and handing me the microphone was a bit nerve-wracking but looking back, I'm grateful for it 😂 I left with so many new numbers saved and several invites for dinner (everyone wants to cook for me, subhanAllah). Honestly, I’m so pleased I went-this is a big step in my deen, and I truly needed a community.
