Asking About Shahada Gestures

Assalamu alaikum, dear brothers and sisters! I have a quick question that might sound silly to some, but I'm honestly curious. When I take my Shahada, I know I need to raise one finger, but can I also hold a friend's hand with my other hand during that moment? I did ask an AI about it and it said yes, but I'm not really comfortable trusting AI for religious guidance.
