Ever Wondered What Truly Earns Allah's Love?
Just had this thought... Everyone craves love, right? From family, from friends, from this whole world. But what if... the One who *made* you... genuinely loves you back? Allah tells us in the Qur'an: "Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves." (That's from Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:222) Think about that for a second. It's not about being flawless. It's about turning back to Him. It's not about never slipping up. It's about always finding your way home. And get this, the Prophet ﷺ said: "When Allah loves a slave, He announces to Jibreel (Gabriel): 'I love so-and-so, so love him.'" (From authentic hadiths in Bukhari and Muslim) Just imagine that scene... Your name being called out up there. Loved by Allah Himself. Loved by the angels. That's when it really hits you. It's not about a perfect record. It's about a real, sincere heart. A humble heart. One that keeps coming back, no matter how many times it wanders. Because Allah loves the ones who strive. The ones who wrestle with their faults. The ones who never quit on His mercy. So, keep turning back. Even after the slip-ups. Even after the falls. Because maybe... that very act of returning is what makes Allah love you most. O Allah, make us from those You love, accept our repentance, cleanse our hearts, and let our names be mentioned with love in the highest company. Ameen.
