Armuzna Task Force Finalizes Preparations for Pilgrim Services in Arafah for Hajj 1447 H/2026 M
The Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (Armuzna) Task Force has started finalizing preparations for the peak of the Hajj pilgrimage in 1447 H/2026 M. Led by the Head of the Armuzna Operational Unit, Surnadi, the team conducted an on-site review in the Arafah area on Sunday (May 3) to ensure readiness of services for Indonesian pilgrims. The review focused on headquarters placement, murur routes, and evacuation systems across 10 Adhoc sectors.
Initial checks identified several areas that still require coordination with the relevant companies, particularly concerning the placement of headquarters. The readiness of murur personnel and taraddudi bus routes for pilgrim mobilization on the 9th of Zulhijah (Dhu al-Hijjah) is also a top priority. A total of 586 members of the Arafah Task Force are scheduled to begin their posts on the 7th of Zulhijah at 15:30 Saudi Arabia time, with each sector responsible for pilgrim accommodation, meals, transportation, and healthcare.
Surnadi emphasized that this review is essential to ensure Indonesian pilgrims can occupy their tents and perform the wukuf (ritual standing at Arafah) safely, comfortably, and with solemnity. These preparations are part of the planning phase running from May 24–30, 2026, and will be followed by socialization, troop deployment, and a final coordination meeting ahead of the peak Hajj rituals.
