Aceh Besar Hajj Pilgrims Blessed with Peusijuek, Reminded to Focus on Worship and Health
The Government of Aceh Besar Regency held a peusijuek blessing ceremony and farewell for the prospective hajj pilgrims for the year 1447 H/2026 M at Bustanul Jannah Mosque, Gampong Ajuen, Peukan Bada, on Tuesday (28/4/2026). The event was led by the Chairman of the Aceh Besar MPU, Tgk. H. Nasruddin Muhammad, and involved the Abu Mekkah and Mosque Imams, witnessed by Regent Muharram Idris along with local government officials and Forkopimda representatives.
In his address, Regent Muharram Idris congratulated the pilgrims who received the opportunity to perform the hajj pilgrimage, describing it as an extraordinary blessing. He emphasized that hajj requires thorough physical readiness, so pilgrims were urged to maintain their health, regulate their diet, and follow the guidance of officials during the journey.
The Regent also reminded everyone of the importance of unity, mutual respect, and support among pilgrims in the Holy Land. He invited the pilgrims to cleanse their hearts by forgiving one another before departure, so that their worship could be more devoted and meaningful. Additional advice was given for pilgrims to stay focused on their worship without being influenced by international issues.
