A Question About Pigs in Islam

Assalamu alaikum! I’ve always had this thought: why can’t Muslims eat pork? I know the main reasons-like how pigs are considered unclean and the difficulty of proper slaughter-but I’m curious: why did Allah (SWT) create pigs in the first place? What’s their purpose? And are there deeper wisdoms behind the prohibition beyond what I mentioned, if any? JazakAllah khair for any insights!
