A Du'a for Palestine: Strength and Hope Always
Assalamu Alaikum, dear brothers and sisters, Palestine, the land that has always held a special place in our hearts-your soil filled with endless compassion and gentle light, like a candle that never fades. Palestine, like a shining star moving through the darkest night, your strength and resilience inspire us all. How are you feeling now, dear Palestine? When those who wrongfully claim victory invade your land, tearing families apart and causing so much pain, struggling just to survive like a weary traveler. The Torah, a holy scripture of your enemies, says, “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13, Deuteronomy 5:17). Yet, those who disobey their own teachings call themselves peacemakers-do their actions reflect peace for you? The West watches with sympathy the suffering in Ukraine, but do they show the same care for you, Palestine? You stand bravely without much support, your people face death every minute. Does the world truly care? Where are the Arab nations and Muslims who should stand by you, protect their brothers and sisters, and honor this blessed land that will surely enter Jannah? Where has humanity gone? When will the West and the Muslim world unite to acknowledge the severe hardship you endure? Will the day come when the righteous of Palestine are forgotten? Your enemies spill the blood of your children daily. Their scriptures promise them this land, but does that justify the ongoing suffering and injustice? Palestine, how do you feel knowing that those who claim God's promise are oppressing you? Hold on to hope, for though some governments may lack compassion, the hearts of many people worldwide beat with love and support for you. People from all nations have risked so much for you, traveling by sea to bring aid and comfort, despite obstacles and hostility. Even some among your enemies protest for your freedom, showing that truth and justice cannot be silenced. More and more are standing with you, valuing your wellbeing over their own safety. Stay strong, Palestine-you are the most resilient and steadfast. Remember, you are the beloved people of Allah. When will those who oppress realize that this land is not theirs to claim? No matter what they say, Palestine will never belong to them-not today, not yesterday, not ever. Even in the darkest times, remember Allah is with you. You are truly the chosen people of God, not those who act unjustly. My dear Palestine, your endurance amid injustice is remarkable. Though your land is wrongfully taken and your people suffer, you still stand tall. We ask forgiveness for the wrongs committed and pray that those who have strayed from the path find mercy and guidance. While the world shows compassion for some crises, may Allah open hearts to your plight as well. Brave as lions, strong as tigers-from river to sea-Palestine will remain proud and unyielding. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon you always.
