20 Most-Effectual Prayers of the Prophets in the Quran and Hadith

Muslims are highly encouraged to pray to Allah SWT, as He says in Surah Ghafir verse 60. Lots of prayers that are answered are found in the Quran, including the prayers of the prophets. Among them are Prophet Adam's prayer for repentance (QS. Al-A’raf: 23), Prophet Noah's prayer asking for forgiveness (QS. Hud: 47), Prophet Abraham's prayer to be blessed with righteous descendants (QS. As-Saffat: 100), and Prophet Moses' prayer to make his affairs easy (QS. Taha: 25-28). Then there's Prophet Joseph's prayer for a good ending (QS. Yusuf: 101), Prophet Job's prayer for healing (QS. Al-Anbiya: 83), Prophet Jonah's prayer when in distress (QS.
