121 Thousand Hajj Pilgrims Have Returned to Indonesia, Bringing a Mission of Civilization
As of Friday (6/19/2026), a total of 121,301 pilgrims and Hajj officers have arrived back in the homeland. The return process is going smoothly with 309 flights landing at various debarkations. This homecoming is not just a physical journey, but the beginning of a new service, bringing the values of Hajj worship into community life.
Kemenhaj spokesperson Ichsan Marsha emphasized that the success of Hajj is measured by changes in attitude and contributions after returning. "Hajj is not just about the journey to the Holy Land, but how the values gained continue to live within families and society," he said. He also appreciated the dedication of officers who ensured pilgrims returned safely and comfortably.
From Saudi Arabia, 267 first-wave flights have been dispatched via Jeddah, and 52 second-wave flights via Medina. Pilgrim movement from Mecca to Medina is still ongoing. Kemenhaj is overseeing the return process until all pilgrims come back safely and achieve a mabrur Hajj. This homecoming is expected to bring about broader social contributions, carrying a spirit of care and exemplary conduct for civilization.
