Where Did the Muslim Unity Go?

Assalamu alaikum, I’ve been thinking about this lately and want to share something that’s been on my mind. From what I’ve seen, especially among Muslims in the West, we’ve lost that sense of togetherness. It’s sad to see how some of us treat each other based on race. Like, Arabs might think they’re above South Asians, South Asians have their own divisions, and both groups sometimes look down on Black Muslims. Even when it comes to marriage, families refuse matches because of someone’s ethnicity or the country they’re from, all because of silly stereotypes. Whatever happened to being one Ummah? I keep thinking about the Prophet’s last sermon, where he told us clearly not to discriminate or be racist toward one another. It’s like we’ve forgotten that.
