Welcoming the 80th Bhayangkara Day, Mataram Police Hold Interfaith Prayer
The Mataram Police held an Interfaith Prayer at the Wira Pratama Building, Tuesday (6/30), as part of the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration. The event was led by Police Chief Kombes Pol. Hendro Purwoko and attended by key officials along with religious figures from Islam, Hinduism, Protestant Christianity, Catholicism, and Buddhism.
Each religious leader offered solemn prayers according to their respective beliefs. The Police Chief said this joint prayer was a moment for reflection and strengthening shared values, as well as a form of spiritual effort for the good of the police, the nation, and society.
He stressed that diversity is a strength to be preserved, and security is a shared responsibility regardless of differences. This activity also reinforced the spirit of tolerance and brotherhood.
Through the 80th Bhayangkara Day, the Mataram Police hope to foster closer ties with the community and continue providing professional, humane, and integrity-driven services to ensure a sense of safety and peace for all levels of society.
