Underage Athlete at Perbakin Surabaya Allegedly Abused by Coach, Police Investigate

So, police are now looking into a case of alleged abuse of an underage athlete at Perbakin Surabaya. They suspect the coach used physical punishment as a way to do it. A report was filed with the Surabaya City Police last Tuesday (6/9). Kompol Melatisari, the head of PPA-PPO unit, said investigators are currently checking witnesses and gathering evidence. A viral post hinted at child grooming, where the guy built trust with the victim before making his move at the training site and a lodging place on March 25, 2026. The victim talked about physical abuse and being asked for intimate content over messages. DP3APPKB Surabaya also stepped in and confirmed the case is being handled legally.
