Thousands of Jombang Pilgrims Carry Out Hajj Obligation in Mina, Elderly Receive Special Assistance
Pilgrims from Jombang Regency grouped in Kloter 60, 61, 62, and 63 have started the mandatory Hajj rituals in Mina after the wukuf at Arafat. All pilgrims are in good health and able to take part in the stoning of the jamarat during the days of Tashreeq.
The head of the Jombang Ministry of Hajj and Umrah office, Ilham Rohim, said the pilgrims are completing the jamarat stoning on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah. Nafar awal pilgrims will leave Mina on the 12th of Dhul-Hijjah heading to Mecca for tawaf ifadah, sa’i, and tahallul tsani. Meanwhile, nafar tsani pilgrims stay until the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah and are scheduled to leave Mina on Saturday (5/30) between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm local time.
From Kloter 63, 379 pilgrims have performed the jamarat stoning, one pilgrim has had the Hajj delegated, 20 pilgrims have completed tawaf ifadah and sa’i, and 120 opted for nafar awal and 239 for nafar tsani. Kloter officers, health workers, karu, and karom continue to assist elderly and high-risk pilgrims. The stoning of the jamarat can be delegated for pilgrims with limited health conditions.
After tahallul tsani, pilgrims are scheduled to return to Mecca to continue worship at the Grand Mosque.
