What comes after death? My dad just left this world.

I’m not super religious, but my father was. He never missed Fajr and Isha at the masjid, always consistent. He was truly a wonderful man in every way. He raised us with the deen and kept encouraging me to come back to practicing. I’m making an effort now, inshaAllah. He passed away two days ago-what happens now? Can he hear me when I visit his grave?
