This is something you should keep between yourself and Allah, truly.
Salam, everyone. I feel like we as Muslims really need to be careful about a certain phrase. We can't be out here openly doing things that are clearly haram in Islam-like drinking or inappropriate displays-in front of everyone, and then just say "it's between me and Allah" to deflect advice. If it's truly just between you and Allah, then keep that struggle and test private with Him. Don't post about it or make videos showing it off. Also, a really important reminder: when someone offers you sincere advice, please don't respond with "well, what about yourself?" or "you do this sin too, mind your own path." We all know that kind of attitude is disliked. Just think about it: on the Day of Judgment, one person might say, "I sincerely advised a fellow Muslim," and another might say, "I told someone giving advice to worry about themselves." Who do you think will be in the right? Let's focus on our own accountability and support each other properly, insha'Allah.
