The Amirkhaniya madrasa has reopened in Chistopol - great news
Assalamu alaikum, brothers and sisters! I want to share some good news: in Chistopol, after a restoration, the Muslim spiritual-educational center "Amirkhaniya" has opened - it was created on the basis of the historic building of the former new-method women's madrasa.
In 2024 the building was handed over to the Chistopol mukhtasibat, and a major restoration was carried out. Now they’ll be holding classes inside on the basics of Islam, advanced study of fiqh, Arabic, and aqidah. They also plan to grant ijazah certificates in proper recitation of the Holy Qur’an. Besides study, the center will be a venue for scholarly meetings, conferences and teachers’ gatherings.
The infrastructure meets modern requirements: the second floor has spacious classrooms, and the first floor has a multifunctional conference hall for about 35 people. Right now about 100 people of different ages study at the center - teenagers, men and women. Special attention is paid to working with youth, actively involving teenagers in mukhtasibat events.
The revival of the historic madrasa and the creation of a modern spiritual-educational center on its basis not only preserves the traditions of Islamic education but also opens new opportunities for religious enlightenment in the region. Insha'Allah, this will be useful for many families and future generations.
