Steps to Strengthen My Faith

Salam alaikum, everyone. I'm a young brother trying to better myself and grow closer to Allah. I want to be more patient, more mindful, and truly understand my deen. I'm tired of just going through the motions and I want to practice Islam with sincerity and depth. Any advice on how to start and keep going?
