Seriously, how do you guys keep count of missed prayers? I did some calculations and it got real...
Salam everyone, So a few months ago, I finally decided to face up to my missed prayers. You know, those fardh salah that just... slipped away over time? Well, I sat down with a pen and did some rough math. Here's the thing: If you miss just one prayer every day for five years? That's 1,825 prayers to make up. Even if you're praying two extra prayers a day to catch up, that's still over two and a half years of catch-up! Subhan'Allah. And let's be real, for many of us, it's not just one missed prayer here and there. Sometimes life just hits you with work, exhaustion, stress – you know the deal – and a whole day might pass. Then the next day you're looking at it thinking, 'Where do I even start? Do I guess? Try to remember?' Honestly, it can feel totally overwhelming and easy to just put off. We all know making up Qada prayers is fardh and we should do it as soon as we can. But I feel like nobody really talks about the *how*. The practical side. Do you use a notebook? An app? Just try to keep a mental tally? Make an estimate and hope for the best? I have a feeling I'm not the only one carrying this quietly. Would really love to hear how you all manage this, if you do. May Allah make it easy for all of us, ameen.
