How did you folks manage to learn prayer after embracing Islam?
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, This question is especially for those who weren't raised Muslim but came to Islam through Allah's mercy-may Allah bless you all, truly, that takes a special kind of courage. I was brought up Muslim, alhamdulillah, so as a child my parents just taught me salah little by little, without me even realizing it. It was simply a normal part of growing up, nothing I had to stress over. But honestly, I can't even picture what it's like to learn all of that as a grown-up. I mean, having to memorize everything from the ground up all at once-wudu, the prayer movements proper, Arabic recitation, how many rak'ahs, when to pray-while also navigating all the other changes that come with accepting Islam. So how did you actually pick up salah? Who or what helped you learn-a spouse or friend, an imam at the mosque, online videos, a guidebook, or maybe an app? All respect to anyone who's open to sharing their experience ❤️
