Seeking guidance on appropriate attire for an Iftar gathering

Assalamu alaikum. I'm not a Muslim, but I work in an environment where most of my colleagues are. Out of respect for them, I'll be fasting during Ramadan. I've been invited to an Iftar meal and I'm wondering what would be the best way to dress. I know modesty is key, but should I also wear a Hijab? I really don't want to unintentionally offend anyone by either not covering up, or by wearing a Hijab since I'm not Muslim. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, JazakAllah Khair!
