Reflecting on Faith and the Afterlife
Assalamu alaikum, brothers and sisters. I've been thinking a lot about faith and salvation lately. If someone is sincerely not convinced about Islam, does that mean they'll face eternal punishment? For instance, if a person leads a morally good life, treats others well, and even follows many values mentioned in the Quran, but struggles to believe in Allah-does that count as denying Him? Honestly, if I truly believed in Allah, I'd embrace Islam wholeheartedly, but I'm genuinely not persuaded by what I've seen so far. It's hard for me to accept that good-hearted people could be condemned forever just because they aren't convinced by the evidence for Islam presented to them. Of course, it's different if someone knows about Allah but rejects faith due to worldly attachments-that makes more sense to me. What are your thoughts on this?
