Manpower Minister Praises Transformative Industrial Relations at PT HM Sampoerna in Accelerating Vocational Competence

Indonesia’s Manpower Minister, Prof. Yassierli, underlined that boosting workforce competence through vocational upskilling and reskilling is a priority for President Prabowo. He praised the transformative industrial relations practices at PT HM Sampoerna, which have shifted from being harmonious to something more progressive. Sampoerna Director Rianto mentioned that Pancasila values like fairness and deliberation form the basis of sustainable industrial relations, in line with the "Three Hands" Philosophy. In 2025, Sampoerna launched the Sampoerna Karya Bangsa (SKB) initiative to support entrepreneurship, vocational training, and education. SKB complements the SETC and SRC programs, which have already trained thousands of participants and empowered hundreds of thousands of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), all in an effort to back the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
