Life for Relief Intensifies Aid for 60,000 Gaza Orphans
GAZA – Life for Relief and Development has launched a global humanitarian campaign to support 60,000 orphans in the Gaza Strip who lost their parents due to the war. The aid includes food, healthcare, education, and psychological support.
According to UNICEF, more than 64,000 children in Gaza have been injured, around 800,000 children are living in displacement, and nearly 1 million children need psychosocial support. The organization stressed its long-term commitment to providing safety, stability, and hope for the children.
Life's orphan sponsorship program has been running for 30 years and now reaches 13,500 children in 22 countries. The organization also integrates emergency response with sustainable development, including support for education, mental health, and family reunification.
Life is urging the public to participate in this campaign, noting that Gaza's children are facing water crisis, food insecurity, and loss of access to education. Donations not only help orphans but also provide psychological and social benefits for donors.
