Let’s Encourage More Islamic Nikah Marriages

Assalamu alaikum dear brothers and sisters in Islam, I hope you’re all in the best of health and iman. The other day I was chatting with some single brothers and asked them what’s keeping them from getting married. They shared that in some non-Muslim countries, they worry about how the legal system handles things like child support and alimony, feeling it can be unfairly stacked against men. But think about it-Allah has made marriage incredibly simple for us. To make a union halal and valid, all we need is the Nikah. So why don’t more of us just perform the Nikah and avoid complicating it with non-Islamic legal processes? We should really spread this idea and encourage it in our communities, so things become easier for everyone, in sha Allah. Jazakum Allahu khayran!
