Last Day of Blusukan in Lampung, Jokowi Buys Up UMKM Products
Indonesia's 7th President Joko Widodo wrapped up his blusukan in Lampung on Sunday (6/28/2026) by visiting Kota Gajah District, Central Lampung. Thousands of residents greeted his arrival, many asking for selfies. Jokowi bought iced milk coffee, fruit rujak, and banana chips from vendors, and treated some kids, as a show of support for UMKM. The event at Kota Gajah District Square also saw locals voicing their hopes for road repairs.
Next, Jokowi visited Nurul Qodiri Islamic Boarding School in Central Lampung. He expressed thanks to the school's caretaker, Kiai Imam Suhadi, the students, and the community for the warm welcome. Jokowi stressed that he remains the same as before, calling himself a villager who just goes about his usual routines.
At the boarding school, Jokowi met a college friend, including his junior, Utama Priyadi, who reminisced about their time at the Forestry Faculty. Utama was grateful to reunite after so long, the last time being when Jokowi was in his first term as president and visited the campus.
