Is Wearing Hijab Just a Personal Journey?

Salaam alaikum, everyone. I know this might not sit well with some, but I gotta say I'm not on board with saying 'hijab is a journey' if it's just a way to put off obeying Allah. Like, every act of worship has its own journey 'cause our faith is always growing, but that doesn't undo what Allah asked of us. It's totally normal to struggle-no one should feel bad for finding it tough. But at the same time, we shouldn't twist a clear command just to make things comfier. Allah tells us: 'It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, to have any choice about their affair' (Qur'an 33:36). We can get that wearing hijab is hard for some sisters while still being real about it being fard. What worries me is how we're so caught up in making every message easy to swallow that we end up softening what Allah made plain. This ain't about judging anyone-we all have our sins and weak spots. I'm just about speaking truth with hikmah, honesty, and a soft heart, even if it's not what everyone wants to hear.
