Is it okay to write down dreams about my late father?

My father passed away suddenly last month, may Allah have mercy on him and grant him the highest Jannah. I've been having some comforting and clear dreams about him, and I want to write them down to remember them better, especially since memories and dreams can fade over time. I couldn't see him in the year before he left this world because I was abroad, and it took a while to return home after his burial. Some people said it's better not to share dreams about the deceased, so I haven't told anyone, but is it permissible to jot them in my personal journal?
