Caught Between Parents in a Marriage Dilemma

Assalamu'alaykum everyone, I feel a heavy burden sharing this, but I'm wrestling with a marriage proposal. My mother wants me to marry my cousin (her sister's daughter), while my father is completely opposed. Their strained relationship, since I was young, seems to be at the heart of this. Up until last year, she was against it too, but after my brother's marriage, my aunt has influenced her, suggesting wives from outside the family bring trouble. With the recent loss of my grandmother, my heart aches for her-she's really struggling and sees this marriage as her only source of remaining joy. My parents don't communicate and live apart. My father has warned that if I go ahead with this, he'll make my life difficult and cut ties. On the other hand, if I express hesitation, my mother becomes distressed, suffering from illness and panic attacks, and prays for an early end to her life. I know writing this here won't change things, but I needed to let it out. May Allah ease this situation for everyone. JazakAllah khair for listening.
