Assalamu aleykum - imams from 13 regions completed training in community management
Assalamu alaikum, brothers and sisters. At the Bulgarian Islamic Academy there was a certificate ceremony for religious leaders from 13 regions of Russia. The imams successfully completed the course "Managing a Muslim Religious Organization: Organizational-Legal and Psychological Aspects," aimed at strengthening management skills for work with communities.
In the program, participants studied the legal foundations of Muslim organizations' activities, approaches to preventing the spread of destructive ideas among youth, and received basic psychological knowledge useful in an imam's day-to-day work. Special attention was paid to practical leadership skills.
Anton Dyganov from Kazan Federal University talked about social project design: how to set goals, define target audiences, and create timeline plans for applying to grants - all presented in a clear, practical way.
Legal aspects were covered in an interactive business game led by academy lecturer Ilsur Salikhov - this helped participants get answers to real legal questions. Linar Khakimov, a representative of the Department of Internal Policy of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about countering destructive ideology among youth. Basic psychological competencies for religious leaders were laid out by clinical psychologist Gulnaz Galiyeva from the Russian Islamic Institute.
Practical sessions included a training on business communication and public speaking by expert Elnara Mirgayazova - participants were able to practice presentations and communication skills needed for effective leadership today.
The course is implemented as part of a federal project to prevent religious and national hatred, with support from the Fund for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education, which underscores its social importance and alignment with state policy.
