Ahead of Eid al-Adha, PLN UPT Malang Supports Inclusive Education for the Visually Impaired
PLN's Transmission Implementation Unit (UPT) Malang has channeled assistance to the Hikmah Mata Hati Foundation in Malang ahead of Eid al-Adha. The aid was provided to support learning facilities and the operational needs of inclusive education for visually impaired students.
The foundation applies an initial ability assessment-based approach, rather than age-based, so that every child receives guidance tailored to their needs. The foundation's founder, Citra, emphasized the importance of adaptive methods to boost students' self-confidence.
Besides face-to-face learning, the foundation also develops the Mata Hati App for digital Quran learning and an inclusive education website. PLN UPT Malang Manager, Emmy Muflihatun Asana, stated that this support aligns with the spirit of Eid al-Adha to share hope and equal opportunities.
The General Manager of PLN UIT for East Java and Bali, Ika Sudarmaja, affirmed PLN's commitment to sustainable social contribution, urging all parties to work together to create a friendly and humane education for all the nation's children.
