After a Decade, PKB Surabaya Reconnects with PCNU

The DPC PKB Surabaya board finally visited the PCNU Surabaya office again after a hiatus of about a decade. The Monday (7/13) evening visit was led by PKB Surabaya chairman M. Faridz Afif and warmly received by Rais Syuriah KH. Dzul Hilmi and PCNU chairman H. Masduki Toha. Masduki Toha welcomed PKB's presence as an old sibling born from the womb of Nahdlatul Ulama. He hoped this moment becomes a turning point to sync frequencies and perceptions, considering the majority of Muslims in Surabaya are Nahdliyin. "Let's leave past issues far behind, this is purely a form of service to NU," he noted. DPC PKB Surabaya chairman M. Faridz Afif expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the NU big family. He affirmed PKB cadres' readiness in the Surabaya DPRD to be an extension of PCNU's aspirations. "If the kiai need any help, don't hesitate.
