A Heartfelt Concern About Our Pets and the Hereafter

As-salamu alaykum and Eid Mubarak to everyone. I've been feeling deeply down since the start of the year, honestly struggling with purpose and just holding on by a thread. My pets have been my one real comfort-they've been with me through everything, truly a blessing from Allah. It hit me hard when I heard that animals might not be in the afterlife. Thinking about Jannah being endless joy but possibly without them makes me incredibly sad. I trust in Allah's mercy, He is Ar-Rahman, but I worry: what if I forget my beloved pets there? If anyone else has wrestled with thoughts like this about the afterlife, how do you manage to keep living fully while holding these concerns? Allahu alam.
