What do you think happened with Nuh's ark?

Assalamu alaikum, I saw some comments from atheists and didn't take it personally, but I did some research and realized Islam and the Quran never said Nuh's ark covered the whole world. That's a Christian belief. But it also never says it was regional. So I'm wondering now: was it just his qawm or actually everyone in the world?
