How People See Allah
Salam alaikum. I've been thinking about why people worship Allah, and it seems like there are different types of worshippers. Some worship because they were born Muslim and just follow tradition. Some pray mechanically, without focus, as if doing a favor to Allah. Others worship only when they need something, like to get their wishes granted. Then there are those who worship to find inner peace. Some have fallen in love with Allah and worship out of that love. Others realize that this world is a prison and true peace is only with Allah. And sadly, some worship just to show off or pretend. May Allah forgive me if my question is wrong-it's just an observation. The best worshipper is the one who worships Allah and follows the Sunnah of our Prophet (peace be upon him). The one who repents before and after sinning, who worships not out of fear but out of a need to feel Allah in his heart, who is kind to all living creatures, and who truly feels this world is a prison. May Allah guide all Muslims, especially those with hard hearts. May Allah protect the Muslims from evil forces. Ameen. Does anyone have references from the Quran and Hadith about this? I'd like to learn more.
