Welcoming the Islamic New Year 1448, Dayah Babul Huda Jambo Masi Encourages Students to Strengthen the Spirit of Hijrah and Gratitude
The big family of Dayah Babul Huda Jambo Masi, Aceh Jaya, welcomed the Islamic New Year 1 Muharram 1448 Hijriah with lots of gratitude. The commemoration was filled with collective prayers, dhikr, religious talks, and reflection on the values of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) hijrah.
The dayah's management, Tgk Kaswati Azkia, S.Pd, emphasized that this moment isn't just about the calendar changing, but a means for self-reflection. "The change of the Hijri year should be a way to evaluate our life's journey and build determination to become a better person," he said.
He explained that hijrah is understood as a transformation towards a better life, especially for the students: from bad habits to good, laziness to earnestness, and negligence to obedience. "The spirit of hijrah must be instilled to improve ourselves, strengthen our morals, and benefit society," he added.
The dayah is responsible for shaping a generation that is intellectually smart, spiritually strong, and holds onto Islamic values. This momentum is hoped to spur students to study harder, maintain good manners, and strengthen their faith in facing the challenges of the times.
