UAE’s non-oil foreign trade tops $1 trillion in 2025
UAE’s non-oil foreign trade surged 26% in 2025 to exceed $1 trillion, with non-oil exports up 45% to Dh813bn. Sheikh Mohammed said targets set for 2031 were reached five years early. Growth was driven by strong non-oil and hydrocarbon performance, and boosted by 35 Cepa trade agreements (14 active), including notable gains with India. Top exports: gold, jewellery, aluminium, perfumes and refined oils. Re-exports and imports also rose sharply, and Q4 non-oil trade hit Dh1.1tr - the highest quarterly total on record.
