Turkey starts dig at ancient Phrygian burial site in Ankara
Turkey has begun archaeological excavations at a previously untouched Phrygian-era burial mound in Ankara. The 2,800-year-old site is expected to provide new insights into Phrygian burial customs and daily life. The Culture and Tourism Minister announced the work as part of a heritage project, with plans to later create an archaeological park at the location.
