A humble request to my Muslim brothers and sisters
Assalamu alaikum. I recently moved from Pakistan to Europe for my studies, and it's been a big change for me. Right now, one of my biggest struggles is the language. I'm still learning the local language, and because of that, finding a part-time job has been really tough. I've tried many places but haven't had any luck yet. I only have enough savings for about one or two more months. The stress of not knowing what comes after is weighing on me. I try to stay positive and keep searching, but honestly, it's hard. Also, something personal has been on my mind a lot. Before coming here, I wasn't very practicing. I didn't pray all five prayers regularly-sometimes two or three, sometimes just one. Now I'm trying to do better, at least three prayers a day. I know it's not perfect, and I have a long way to go. I don't want to seem overly religious, but I'm genuinely scared of drifting away from my deen. Living in Europe at my age means a lot of freedom. There's alcohol, drugs, and other things around that are normal here. No one stops you or tells you right from wrong. You have to control yourself. As a young man far from family and everything familiar, this scares me. I worry I might become careless with my faith or lose the values I grew up with. So I wanted to share this with my brothers and sisters in Islam. If you remember me in your duas, please ask Allah to keep me firm on my deen, protect me from anything that takes me away from Him, make my situation easier, give me a halal income, and grant me stability and happiness here. I'm doing my best-looking for work, learning the language daily, and trying to improve spiritually. I don't expect anyone to fix my problems; I just needed to get this off my chest because keeping it inside has been stressful. If you're Muslim and reading this, please make a small dua for me when you remember. It would mean a lot. May Allah keep us all firm on our deen, protect us when away from home, and ease our difficulties. Ameen.
