TPQ and Provincial Roads Dominate Residents' Aspirations During East Java DPRD Recess
Blitar – Aspirations from Blitar residents during the recess of East Java DPRD member for Electoral District VII, Laili Abidah, were dominated by the need for facilities for Al-Qur'an Learning Centers (TPQ) and handling of provincial roads. TPQ managers complained about limited facilities even though teaching staff is available.
Besides that, residents also voiced complaints about provincial road sections that haven’t been dealt with. The difficulty of distinguishing between provincial and district road status means repair proposals often miss the mark. Laili stated that Commission A will identify roads under provincial authority.
All inputs will be inventoried by DPRD expert staff and coordinated with East Java Provincial Government agencies so they can be followed up quickly. The recess is expected to become a basis for development priorities according to community needs.
