Three 24-Hour Health Posts for NU Congress Participants in Tambakberas, Jombang
The local committee for the 35th NU Congress has set up three health posts around the Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Tambakberas, Jombang. The posts are at Unwaha, MTsN 3, and MAN 3 Tambakberas, and they'll be running 24 hours from 27 to 31 August 2026. Each post has a doctor, nurses, and an ambulance. Medical staff are also on standby at 10 rest towers for participants.
KH Muhyiddin Zainul Arifin, the vice chair of the health section, explained that participants can just come for check-ups, no voucher needed. For referrals, the committee coordinates with Jombang Regional Hospital and Ploso Regional Hospital. Participants are urged to make sure their BPJS Health status is active. For Jombang participants without BPJS, the local government covers the cost; for out-of-town participants without BPJS, they'll liaise with their home regions.
The health team will also cover all congress events, including plenary and commission sessions, with ambulances and staff on standby at every meeting venue.
